Sorrento is quite simply beautiful, a small Italian town that is as full of things to see and do as it is full of true Mediterranean charm. The hustle and bustle of the shops, cafes and restaurants of the Piazza Tasso epitomises the ‘al fresco’ lifestyle so popular here. Visitors can easily spend the day leisurely wandering around the town, soaking up the culture, shopping for local arts and crafts, drinking smooth Italian coffee and eating fresh pastas, delicious pizzas and seriously moreish gelato.

With the internet really coming into its own, accommodation in the UK is really coming into its own with owners realising they have to up their standards to get ‘bums in beds’ so to speak.

Below is the basic accommodation standards i expect from a room.

1/ Comfortable Beds. Everyone has their own version of what is comfortable but a fairly firm quality mattress is the norm. If you are uncomfortable let the management know so they can do something about it. Cotton sheets with a decent thread count makes me sleep a lot better.
