Hidden Travel Treasure In The Caribbean
St. Maarten is a tropical island located in the northeast region of the Caribbean, which is about 240 km to the east of Puerto Rico. This island is divided in half between the Netherlands and France. Even though it is divided between these two nations it is still one of the tiniest inhabited places worldwide. Christopher Columbus come across this island during 1493 and in 1648 a treaty was signed to divide the island in two territories to be ruled by Holland and France.
